"Horse & Bloom" Series- Current Body of Work

In this current body of work, I am exploring personal emotional narratives through symbolic imagery—most prominently, the form of the horse. Horses have long represented strength, beauty, and freedom, qualities that I connect deeply with the feminine experience. Within this series, the horse serves not only as a visual subject but as a metaphor for emotional endurance and the desire for liberation that many women quietly carry.

To enhance the symbolic nature of each painting, I incorporate flowers drawn from Victorian floriography, the historical “language of flowers.” Each bloom is chosen deliberately to reflect the emotional tone and intention of the piece, offering viewers a visual and symbolic entry point into the narrative.

This series is both introspective and expressive—a study of resilience, vulnerability, and the layered complexity of modern womanhood. Through this work, I seek to give form to feelings that are often unspoken, inviting reflection, connection, and dialogue.
